Naveed Ahmed is a senior technology and business transformation leader with over 30 years of experience delivering complex change across large, regulated, and operationally intensive organisations.

Throughout his career, Naveed has worked with some of the UK’s most recognised institutions, including Sky, Stagecoach Group, the BBC, and Sony, leading large-scale technology, systems, and operational transformation programmes. His experience spans transport, telecommunications, broadcast media, and software-led environments — sectors where reliability, scale, and execution are critical.

At Stagecoach Group, Naveed led multi-million-pound transformation initiatives across finance, HR, and operational systems, including the implementation of Workday across the group. These programmes delivered significant efficiency gains and cost savings, while modernising core business infrastructure. He also led business transformation projects within Scottish Citylink, Scotland’s largest coach operator, integrating systems and improving operational performance across a complex joint venture environment.

Naveed has played key roles in delivering mission-critical technology for major global events, including the London 2012 Olympics, Rio 2016 Olympics, Euro 2016, and Glastonbury, as well as contributing to the development of BBC iPlayer.
